“I also aim to provide a high-quality early childhood education experience for children and their families.”

I began my career in early childhood education and care in 2010. I hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care (Birth to 5) and a Diploma in Leadership and Management.

Our aim is to provide high quality early childhood education for children. We do this by authentic and meaningful relationships with children, families and our community. We provide a purposeful and intentional curriculum for each and every child guided by our nationally approved early education framework, critical reflection, and partnerships with families and other professionals.

I also aim to provide a high-quality early childhood education experience for children and their families by focusing on creating a positive work culture for my team. I achieve this by providing strong leadership for our team of educators and focusing on the extensive building of our team.

All childcare centres, including our centre, use the foundation of play-based learning to guide our experiences every day. With access to a range of age-appropriate learning resources, trained educators, and new experiences among friends, we set children up to thrive in an environment that is dedicated to learning.

Children develop their curiosity, problem-solving, confidence and resilience at our centre, and we carefully plan play-based learning experiences around their interests and learning goals. Over time, you will see your child develop abilities such as language, motor movement, memory, concentration and social relationships all by partaking in these experiences - it's a truly incredible journey to witness!

Our team of educators and I strive to achieve a nurturing environment where children feel secure with a high focus on relationships. We build trusting partnerships with families, seeking their expert knowledge of their own children, and inviting them to take part in our service as much as they can. And lastly respect. We want to embed respect into everything we do, respect for children, families, culture, background, community, educators and other professionals, and the land and animals.

I’m most proud of our amazing team of educators! We work so hard to build each other up and work together. We have a whopping combined 86 years of experience educating children and we bring it all together to support our children and families. We also develop amazing programs and curriculum, in particular our Bush Kindy Program is jam packed full of amazing learning opportunities!

Our team understands just how important your children are to you and we ensure we take our responsibilities seriously. Community Kids Early Education Centres has extensive policy and procedures in place to assist our team in protecting children in our care.

And ultimately our little centre feels like a preschool with current approaches, with a real home like feeling for our children, families, and educators. Being so small we are able to really get to know each other and build on our relationships which is so important to our approach to early childhood education.

It’s really important you feel happy and comfortable with any preschool or day-care your little one goes to, so we encourage families to come visit us with their children! We’d love the opportunity to get to know you and will help and support you in any way we can. We hope to see you soon!
