Meet the Centre Manager – Rebecca Witchell

I started my career in early childhood education and care in 2003 and hold an Advanced Diploma of Children’s Services. During my career I have been in many roles, from room leader in the Nursery through to Kinder room, Workplace Health & Safety officer, Educational Leader, Assistant Centre Manager, and now Centre Manager.

At Community Kids Mornington we embrace the mantra “it takes a big heart to shape little minds”. The first five years of a child’s life are the most crucial and I love that we play such an important role in that – by helping to develop a sense of self, a sense of belonging, and just help them to flourish and grow within their own development.  There really is nothing better than listening to their little quotes that they come out with, getting a cuddle and just seeing that look of amazement on their little faces when they do something that they have set out to do.

A little fun fact about me – our family loves books and we have a very big collection of children’s books at home. My two children love to read and they love to add to our “library” collection.

We cannot wait to meet your family and share this exciting journey with your family.

  • Winks

“When we started our Childcare experience my wife and I were so confused as to what would qualify as a good fit for us– but with the help of the lovely office staff we had quickly made our decision – from the office to the staff in the room everyone knows our sons Name and greets him – making me feel like they care for my family. We could not be happier with the experience and cannot thank everyone enough for making me feel comfortable leaving my Son for the day.”
