What inspired you to become an educator?
Ever since I can remember I wanted to look after children, I love watching them grow and develop and building relationships with them that they will cherish for years to come.
What values are most important to you in your team members?
Compassion! Towards the children, the rest of the team and being compassionate in general
What is your philosophy about educating children?
All children are different but deserve to be treated as equals. If we teach all children the same, they will not all learn. If we give children the opportunity for a range of teaching and learning experiences we will give them the opportunity to reach for the stars. As an educator I believe that all children deserve the right to an education and we as early childhood educators are the foundation of this education. If we can give them the opportunity from an early age to succeed, we can set them up for a lifetime of success and the best opportunities possible.
What is one of your hobbies?
I love getting outside and in the garden with my family and just enjoying time spent with them.
What message would you like to tell parents considering your centre?
