Spacious areas designed to inspire
When stepping into our homely childcare centre, you will experience a world where children are inspired to explore, learn and grow. Our spacious outdoor area includes a dry creek bed, a water play area, sandpits and raised vegetable garden beds to engage all the senses. Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoor spaces to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence.
Our indoor environment invites exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children marvel, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists and designers. You will also receive daily photos and updates of your child's learning and development through our parent app - Xplor.
Healthy meals freshly prepared in-house
There is no need to pack lunch and snacks for your child. We provide healthy meals and snacks created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and early learning educators grow relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices. We always have fresh fruit available in the foyer for parents and children to snack on.
Community-based early learning
Each day is a brand-new adventure at Community Kids Caboolture child care centre. Your child will have access to an alternating schedule of specialised programs. Throughout the year, educators and children venture out to on excursions to our local community visiting the local school and community walks. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
Sustainability program for a better future
We are currently working with a local farm on a food waste management program. Our food scraps are picked up every day by the farm and given to the animals to contribute to our sustainability practices. We have replanted our vegetable pods and once these flourish the children will help deliver these to the kitchen for our cook to add to our delicious meals. In our inviting and welcoming foyer, we have a community food pantry. This pantry welcomes our centre community to take home to use or add items whenever they like.
As members of our Community Kids community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality early learning education and care in your child’s formative years.
