Centre Manager - Community Kids Coomera
“Children should be given choices, responsibilities, and opportunities to initiate their own learning.”
I began my career in early childhood education and care in 2008. I hold an Advance Diploma of Children’s Services, Diploma of Children’s Services, Certificate 3 in Children’s Services and Diploma of Business Management.
I am passionate about the Early Childhood Sector and aspire to facilitate an environment that scaffolds each and every child’s individual learning and development. An important part of Early Childhood Education is providing an atmosphere that where all children feel relaxed, happy, comfortable and confident within themselves and the environment to learn and develop at their own pace.
I believe that each individual has the right to self-development and realisation of their own potential. Children should be given choices, responsibilities, and opportunities to initiate their own learning. As a Centre Manager, I endeavour to ensure the implementation of educational programs and environments that scaffolds each child’s interests, culture, learning, development and individuality through play. Where children are successful, capable and confident learners. I will endeavour to support all children them understand they have the right to belong and contribute to the world.
All childcare centres, including our centre, use the foundation of play-based learning to guide our experiences every day. With access to a range of age-appropriate learning resources, trained educators, and new experiences among friends, we set children up to thrive in an environment that is dedicated to learning. Children develop their curiosity, problem-solving, confidence and resilience at our centre, and we carefully plan play-based learning experiences around their interests and learning goals. Over time, you will see your child develop abilities such as language, motor movement, memory, concentration and social relationships all by partaking in these experiences - it's a truly incredible journey to witness!
I am proud that our team of educators endeavour to provide loving, caring, safe and home-like environments that are welcoming, warm and inclusive of all cultures, nationalities, abilities and family situations.
The values that are most important to me in my team members is that each and every educator is to strive towards and provide the highest level of care and education for each child in a warm, nurturing and safe environment by creating a feeling of acceptance and sense of belonging.
Our centre provides the tools and support needed for children to succeed and grow into capable ready individuals, our team of educators are experienced professional who have the knowledge and drive to facilitate this journey with the children. Our team of educators are passionate about the child care industry and work in collaboration with each other and families to create an environment where children and their families feel safe, secure, respected, supported and comfortable.
We work in partnership with all families, this is to ensure the highest quality of care for the children at our service. We encourage families to be involved in their child learning and pride ourselves in open communication and customer satisfaction.
We understand that starting at a new centre can be overwhelming and that is why from the very first enquiry, we make sure that we address all your questions one by one. We walk families through all the forms and administration that need to be done, this includes enrolment forms, Child Care Subsidy (CCS), explaining subsidies, government caps, centre schedules, our centre menu and more.
