Centre Manager - Community Kids Coomera

“Children should be given choices, responsibilities, and opportunities to initiate their own learning.”

I began my career in early childhood education and child care in 2008. I hold an Advance Diploma of Children’s Services, Diploma of Children’s Services, Certificate 3 in Children’s Services and Diploma of Business Management.

I am passionate about the child care and early education sector, and I aspire to facilitate an environment that scaffolds each and every child’s individual learning and development. An important part of Early Childhood Education is providing an atmosphere that where all children feel relaxed, happy, comfortable and confident within themselves and an environment to learn and develop at their own pace.

Children should be given choices, responsibilities, and opportunities to initiate their own learning. As a Centre Manager, I endeavour to ensure the implementation of educational programs and environments that scaffolds each child’s interests, culture, learning, development and individuality through play.

Here at our child care centre, we use the foundation of play-based learning to guide our experiences every day. With access to a range of age-appropriate learning resources, trained educators, and new experiences among friends, we set children up to thrive in an environment that is dedicated to learning. Children develop their curiosity, problem-solving, confidence and resilience at our centre, and we carefully plan play-based learning experiences around their interests and learning goals. Over time, you will see your child develop abilities such as language, motor movement, memory, concentration and social relationships all by partaking in these experiences - it's a truly incredible journey to witness!

Our team of educators provides the tools and support needed for children to succeed and grow into capable ready individuals. They are passionate about the child care industry and work in collaboration with each other and families to create a nurturing environment where children and their families feel safe, secure, respected, supported and comfortable.

We work in partnership with all families to ensure the highest quality of care for the children. We encourage families to be involved in their child learning and pride ourselves in open communication and customer satisfaction.

We understand that starting child care can be overwhelming and that is why from the very first enquiry, we make sure that we address all your questions one by one. We walk families through all the forms and administration that need to be done. This includes enrolment forms, Child Care Subsidy (CCS), explaining subsidies, government caps, centre schedules, our centre menu and more.

I look forward to welcoming your family to our centre.
