Centre Manager - Community Kids Enoggera

“I understand that children learn and develop differently at different rates, and I strive to provide an environment responsive to each child’s capabilities.”

I began my early childhood education and care career in 2004 as a centre float and worked my way up to Lead Educator and finally to Centre Manager. I hold a Diploma in Children’s Services and a Diploma in Leadership and Management. I have been working in Community Kids Enoggera since 2004.

As a parent, I understand that choosing an early learning centre is one of the most important decisions that a parent will make for their children. I chose to work in early childhood education to help parents select a home away from home for their children.

I understand that children learn and develop differently at different rates, and I strive to provide an environment responsive to each child’s capabilities.

I encourage my team at Community Kids Enoggera to ensure we always provide an environment that fosters a positive attitude and effective communications between each other, our families, and each child in our care.

We provide continuous development of learning programs that are planned, implemented, and evaluated to meet the needs of every child. We provide an environment with high health and safety standards, high nutritional standards, and we promote sustainability through water conservation, reduction, reusing & recycling, and natural resources.

At Community Kids Enoggera, I have the pleasure of working with an incredible team of dedicated, qualified and long-serving educators. Most of our educators have worked at the service for over five years. We have a mix of female and male educators and two chickens named Sharon & Karen.

Our families know that I am always here for a friendly chat. I enjoy connecting with our families by holding family engagement events to bring families together.
