Joanne Ware

Centre Manager - Community Kids Freemans Reach

“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn”. – Benjamin Franklin.

I have been working in child care and early education for 21 years. I hold a Bachelor of Teaching with major studies in Early Childhood Education and Care, as well as certificates in First Aid/Asthma and Anaphylaxis and CPR. I am also a nominate supervisor and hold a Working with Children check.

As a centre manager, I wish to instill good morals and values in all children. I respect all children’s families, cultures, ethnicities, race, beliefs and structure. I treat each child fairly to ensure all children feel equally special. At our centre, we have families, communities and educators work as one. We remain a lifelong advocate of children, and aim to maintain a constant fun, loving, safe and positive environment for each child.

I aim to provide the highest quality care, while creating a nurturing and supportive community of children. Through a play based program, I will provide a model of community that will sustain and enrich our children throughout their lives.

I am most proud of our centre's very capable, dedicated and passionate staff, along with our sustainability gardens.

Community Kids Freemans reach is a home away from home. We want you to feel welcome and comforted knowing that your children are left in the best possible care that the Hawkesbury has to offer.

We are open from 6am to 6pm. We provide a healthy and delicious cooked menu. We provide all bed linen for rest time, nappies, school readiness programs, led by university and diploma trained educators, extracurricular programs but most importantly love, care and devotion to each and every child at our service.

We look forward to welcoming your family to the centre.
