Centre Manager - Community Kids Hampton Park
"It is a great pleasure to know that my team and I have helped a child or parent by what we do."
I began my early childhood education and care career in 2010 and started working at Community Kids Hampton Park in 2020. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and Diploma in Leadership and Management. I have worked as a Lead Educator, Assistant Manager, and Centre Manager.
I believe children are central to everything we do. We are creating the future and next generation of leaders in our country. Here at Community Kids Hampton Park, we know that every child is unique and should be treated so. We provide opportunities for children to explore, discover, create, and imagine. We form friendly and welcoming relationships, be part of children’s development and create a sense of autonomy.
We have qualified and supportive educator team who truly care about children’s wellbeing and growth. Our activities are designed to encourage physical and cognitive development, including tummy time, sensory play, music, singing, rhymes and reading. Our real-life and play-based experiences allow children to engage in basic literacy and numeracy concepts.
Our team is extremely passionate about creating a centre that is a home away from home for both families and children where our team celebrates the diversity of all cultures. We’re fortunate to have educators who speak various languages, including Mandarin, Turkish, Singhalese, Dari, Persian, Bosnian, Serbian, Hindi and more. We work in partnership with families to ensure this is the case, understanding each child’s individual needs. The whole team sees their role as incredibly important, helping children establish the building blocks for a successful lifetime of learning. Community Kids Early Education Centres has extensive policy and procedures in place to assist our team in protecting children in our care.
We offer parents snacks and coffee during the morning drop off to save them time. We regularly hold cultural celebrations. Food share pantry is available for all families, which is the way we share with our community.
We understand that starting at a new centre can be overwhelming. With many of our team having children of their own, we have all been or are going through the process of child care and early learning – we are proud to offer support where possible - from helping our families to enrol, applying for the Child Care Subsidy or even tips to help with fussy eaters.
I look forward to welcoming your family to Community Kids Hampton Park.
