Centre Manager - Community Kids Lavington
"The thing that makes me continue to love my job is the way we are able to help these children grow and learn under our care and guidance."
I began my career in early childhood education and care in 2013 and started working at Community Kids Lavington in 2018. I hold a Diploma in Children’s Services and have many years’ experience as a room leader and an educational leader, as well as an Assistant Centre Manager.
When I left school, I wanted to go into social work to help work with vulnerable families and children, during a placement at a childcare centre, I fell in love with the environment and the joy I got out of helping children during their most formative years of life.
Children learn through play in an ever adapting and changing learning environment, if we can continue to provide this to children, it gives them the steppingstones to go further in life and continue to meet their milestones and developmental needs. Our caring educators go out of their way to make children feel loved, welcomed, and valued. This instils a sense of belonging and confidence in a child. As children grow, this need for belonging continues.
We have a team of passionate, capable educators who are from multicultural backgrounds. Our team understands just how important your children are to you and we ensure we take our responsibilities seriously. Community Kids Early Education Centres has extensive policy and procedures in place to assist our team in protecting children in our care.
We work with families to create positive family relationships and partnerships that are built on communication, teamwork, and appreciation of each other. Children feel secure and loved when they are surrounded by strong and positive relationships.
I look forward to welcoming your family to Community Kids Lavington.
