Centre Manager - Community Kids Middleton Grange
“A child’s mind is not a container to be filled but rather a fire to be kindled.”
I am a very passionate and motivated Early Childcare Educator with a Bachelor in Early Childhood. My vision is to provide high-quality care for children at my service while forming positive relationships with parents and caregivers.
What I love about being an Early Childhood Educator is the opportunity to help educate young children to grow within their most important five years of their lives.
I am passionate about providing a warm and nurturing environment for children and families. Ensuring families are comfortable leaving their children every day. In particular, the environments where children can be themselves, learn, grow and develop at their own pace.
I respect and nurture each child’s uniqueness and potential and actively promote the early childhood years as a time of discovery, exploration, and development of lifelong learning skills.
Children will have an equal opportunity to learn. They will be respected and not discriminated against regardless of gender, age, ability, economic status, family structure, ethnicity, lifestyle, religion, culture or language. I will educate children about differences between children, families and communities and promote positive self-esteem in all children. I will ensure families with additional needs are included and will offer any support, guidance and assistance needed
Our team understands just how important your children are to you, and we ensure we take our responsibilities seriously. Community Kids Middleton Grange has extensive policy and procedures in place to assist our team in protecting children in our care.
I am committed to providing high quality early learning and care environments as per the National Quality Standard. These include innovative and exciting programs, learning stories, provocations and environments for children and families, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework.
As an educator, manager and advocate for early education, I adhere to our centre’s five core values; compassion, passion, innovation, integrity and dedication.
Our ongoing vision is to provide an environment welcoming and supportive of all children, families and educators, with a holistic approach to learning through play.
Every child and family member that comes through our door is welcomed into a big family. We strive to be warm and nurturing, where all children are encouraged to grow and explore whilst working collaboratively with families to enrich every child’s life.
A fun fact about me is that I enjoy Croatian Folklore dancing!
We look forward to welcoming you at Community Kids Middleton Grange!
