Community Kids Mornington
Welcome to Community Kids Mornington Early Education Centre. Our early learning and long day care centre are ideally located for families living or commuting through Mornington, Mount Martha, Moorooduc and Mount Eliza. We provide long day care and kindergarten programs for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Community Kids Mornington is a small family-oriented centre with a big focus on nature and Bush Kinder, which we offer three days a week to the Pre-Kinder and Kindergarten rooms.
Our Mornington child care centre provides daily updates and photos detailing their child's day, as well as their learning goals and progress, which is accessible on our family app.

Centre Highlights
Community Kids Mornington is designed to be a home away from home that encourages every child’s exploration. Our early learning environments have been carefully designed to immerse your child into a world of exploration, curiosity, and learning.
Each learning space extends to our beautiful outdoor environment, which encourages endless ways and opportunities for play! Our outdoor spaces include climbing equipment, sandpits in each yard, and a dedicated undercover deck area in the pre-kinder yard. Our newly renovated indoor rooms provide individualised play spaces and art areas, coupled with relaxing and inviting group time and dining areas.
Our team of passionate early learning educators make up the heart of our Mornington child care centre. We know each child has unique talents and interests. Our experienced educators are passionate about helping every child succeed in discovering their identity and become confident, happy and resilient learners. They also build positive and long-lasting relationships with children and families to ensure a smooth transition into the centre. We are a multicultural early learning centre with several languages being spoken across our team.
Play is essential to every child's learning and development. It enables children to make decisions, learn, take risks, and have fun. At our Mornington child care centre, our experienced team plan play-based learning activities in line with national standards. The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) is designed to engage in your child’s interests and allow them to experience each day in a new way, supporting their learning in the lead-up to primary school.
Our Early Learning Curriculum also provides children with:
- Real Life experiences: Children participate in fun and exciting experiences such as woodworking, harvesting the veggie garden and basic cooking skills.
- Sustainability Program: Each age group participates in sustainability practices that help children embed sustainable practices into everyday life. Children learn about recycling, conserving water, growing food and the importance of looking after and protecting our planet.
- Music and movement programs: Our fortnightly Mini Monstars program is designed to help develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory and concentration.
At our Mornington early learning centre, we provide children with nutrient-rich, fresh, and seasonal whole foods created to please even the fussiest of eaters. For variety, our menu rotates every four weeks and changes every season, with our chef catering to the unique dietary and religious requirements of every child. We also offer a cultural menu once a month, where families can share their favourite recipes. Our delicious morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are all prepared daily in the centre following Australian Dietary Guidelines and recommendations.
We look forward to partnering with you and your family to provide information, support, and high-quality early childhood education and care in your child’s formative years. Book a tour or contact our Family Support Team to start your journey with us today.
