Amy Cram

Centre Manager - Community Kids Montebello

“We have a real opportunity to shape the lives of all our young people that we educate and care for daily, and this is what motivates me to do better.”

I began my career in early childhood education and care in 2006 and have worked at Community Kids Montebello as an Assistant and Lead Educator before taking on the role as the Centre Manager.

I hold a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and bring a wealth of knowledge to my role. As a child, I always dreamt of working with children, and my passion certainly lays within the early childhood sector.

My passion for early childhood education has grown since giving birth to my two wonderful children. My children inspire me daily to ensure all children can achieve the best possible learning outcomes at Community Kids Montebello.

We believe early childhood is a time for children to play, which is why our indoor and outdoor environments promote discovery, exploration, investigation and imagination with hands-on experiences for children to engage in and enjoy as they shape lifelong skills.

All childcare centres, including our centre, use the foundation of play-based learning to guide our experiences every day. With access to a range of age-appropriate learning resources, trained educators, and new experiences among friends, we set children up to thrive in an environment that is dedicated to learning.

We have an experienced and multicultural team with low staff turnover, which enables us to deliver our children's ambitious plans successfully. That is why many of our families stay with us from nursery to preschool years. The team are extremely passionate about creating a child care centre that is truly a home away from home, where all the members are happy to be part of a great experience.

Our team understands just how important your children are to you, and we ensure we take our responsibilities seriously. Community Kids Montebello has extensive policy and procedures to assist our team in protecting children in our care. You can read more about our commitment to safety here.

We believe we have a real opportunity to shape all the young people we educate and care for daily, which motivates me to do better.

We understand that starting at a new centre can be overwhelming and that is why from the first inquiry, we make sure that we address all your questions one by one. We walk families through all the forms and administration that need to be done. These include enrolment forms, Child Care Subsidy (CCS), explaining subsidies, government caps, centre schedules, our centre menu and more.
