Spacious areas designed to inspire

From the moment you step foot into our child care centre, you will encounter a haven where children are inspired to explore and grow. Our adventure-filled playground includes a waterplay area, bicycle track, vegetable garden and other exciting play equipment for children to explore and to engage all the senses. Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoor spaces to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence.

Our indoor environments invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children marvel, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists and designers.

Healthy meals freshly prepared in-house

You child’s lunch and snacks are provided for at Community Kids Springvale South Child Care and Early Education Centre. We offer healthy, freshly made meals created daily by our in-house cook catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.

Committed team of educators

At Community Kids Springvale South our team of educators are very committed and have strong relationships between each other, with the children and their families. We are proud to announce that we do not have a staff turnover. We teach children not only about what is the community but how can we help the community as a service. As a team, we always want to move forward and learn more about how to provide children with educational and creative programs based on individual needs, interests and abilities. Your child will have full access to a rotating schedule of engaging specialised programs including music and sports. You will also receive daily photos, meal and nap times, as well as updates of your child's learning and development through our parent app - Xplor.

Community-based early learning

Our educators and children explore our local community with regular excursions and walks, visiting the nearby aged care facility, pet shop, schools, library, Bunnings and community events. We welcome special guests and community members to the centre including Occupational Therapists. We also organise a range of educational children’s shows including reptile encounters, rhythm and moves, science lab and much more.

As members of our Community Kids community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
