Part of your village at Community Kids Yandina Early Education Centre 2. Our early learning and long day care centre is ideally located for families living or commuting through Yandina and nearby suburbs Ninderry, Maroochy River and North Arm.
As you step foot into our child care centre, you will experience a world where children are inspired to explore and learn. Our spacious outdoor area includes large yards with grassed play areas, a slide, sandpit, swings and a vegetable garden to engage all the senses. Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoor spaces to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence.
Our indoor environments invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children marvel, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists and designers.
You child’s lunch and snacks are provided for at Yandina Early Education Centre 2. We offer healthy, freshly made meals created daily by our in-house cook catering for all dietary requirements. The centre cook works with the educators to implement cooking experiences for the children. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices. During your busy morning run, let us treat you to hot coffee and a snack.
Your child will have full access to a rotating schedule of engaging specialised programs including sports, yoga, music, bush kindy and swimming lessons. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program.
Throughout the year, educators and children venture out on excursions to our community visiting nearby schools and our local community learning about our history and heritage. We work alongside the community with the local street fair and schools. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
We have a sustainability program with worm farms and compost. We also have seasonal vegetables and an established mandarin tree.
As members of our Community Kids community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
