Community Kids Golden Square

Part of your village at Community Kids Golden Square Early Education Centre.  Our early learning and long day care centre is ideally located for families living or commuting through Golden Square or nearby suburbs Kangaroo Flat, Maiden Gully and Marong.

From the moment you enter our Golden Square child care centre, you will experience a world where children are inspired to explore and learn. Our adventure-filled playground includes sandpits, slides and other exciting play equipment for the children to enjoy and engage all their senses. Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoor spaces to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence.

We pride ourselves on our homestyle approach to the environment. We consider ourselves to be a home away from home for both you and your child.

Our indoor environments invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children marvel, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists and designers.

Our well-planned school holiday care program offers school-age children (aged 5 – 12 years) time to unwind and spend time with friends during school holidays.  The program provides daily variety, focusing on fun and learning through a mix of indoor and outdoor play.

You’ll never have to worry about packing lunches or snacks. We provide healthy meals created daily by our in-house cook catering for all dietary requirements, offering healthy seasonal meals that children love to eat. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices. As part of your busy morning routine let us treat you to a snack and hot coffee, available to grab and go.

A new adventure awaits each day. Your child will have full access to a rotating schedule of specialised programs including sports and Bush Kinder program. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program.

Our educators and children explore our local community with regular excursions and walks, visiting the Bethlehem aged care facility, Kyabram Wildlife Park, Anakie Fairy Park, local libraries, Botanical Gardens, local schools, local parks and community events. We have a centre bus to cater to the bush kinder program which sees them attend local parks and reserves for educational purposes. They also attend other places of interest as part of their program. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.

As members of our Community Kids community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
