We’re part of your village at Community Kids Greenacres Early Education Centre. Our early learning and long daycare centre is ideally located for families living or commuting through Windsor Gardens, Hampstead Gardens and Hillcrest.
Our centre is proud to have received Exceeding the National Quality Standard. The National Quality Standard encompasses the seven key quality areas that are important outcomes for children’s learning and development.
From the moment you step into our Greenacres child care centre, you will experience a world where children are inspired to explore, learn and grow. Our spacious outdoor environments includes a vegetable garden and petting zoo and play forts to engage all the senses.
Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoor spaces to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Our indoor environments invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children marvel, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists and designers.
You won’t need to worry about packing breakfast, lunch and snacks for your child. We provide healthy, freshly made meals created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators grow relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
Throughout the year, educators and children venture out to on excursions to our local Greenacres community visiting nearby parks and the local library. Each day is a brand-new adventure, we regularly welcome special community guests to the centre including dentists and optometrists. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
As members of our Community Kids community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
