Centre Manager - Community Kids Hampton Park

"It is a great pleasure to know that my team and I have helped a child or parent by what we do."

I began my early childhood education and care career in 2010 and started working at Community Kids Hampton Park in 2020. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and Diploma in Leadership and Management. I have worked as a Lead Educator, Assistant Manager, and Centre Manager.

I believe children are central to everything we do. We are creating the future and next generation of leaders in our country. Here at Hampton Park, we know that every child is unique and should be treated so. We facilitate environments that encourage children to have fun and learn and grow into their future success.

As early educators, we believe that children learn through play. We will provide opportunities for children to explore, discover, create, and imagine. We also believe in cultural diversity. We celebrate the benefits of diversity with each child and enable them to understand and acknowledge differences.

I am passionate about helping children in their learning and life journey. It is a great pleasure to know that my team and I have helped a child or parent by what we do. We form friendly and welcoming relationships, be part of children’s development and create a sense of autonomy.  We connect with children and support their needs here at Community Kids Hampton Park every single day.

Each room has been planned and set up to deliver the best early learning experience for your little one. CK Hampton Park is a homely, safe, and secure environment where your child will develop and grow.

There are many benefits for children and their families attending a dedicated early childhood centre. We have qualified and supportive educator team who truly care about children’s wellbeing and growth. Our activities are designed to encourage physical and cognitive development, including tummy time, sensory play, music, singing, rhymes and reading. Our real-life and play-based experiences allow children to engage in basic literacy and numeracy concepts.

Our team is extremely passionate about creating a centre that is a home away from home for both families and children where our team celebrates the diversity of all cultures. We’re fortunate to have educators who speak various languages, including Mandarin, Turkish, Singhalese, Dari, Persian, Bosnian, Serbian, and Hindi, to name just a few. The Centre really is an extension of the home environment. We work in partnership with families to ensure this is the case, understanding each child’s individual needs.

We have long-serving, multicultural team members who reflect our local community. Many have been with the Centre for over ten years. It’s the sort of Centre where everyone knows all the children, no matter which room they are in. We are such a close-knit team it feels like one big family.

The best part of my job is the team – they are so committed and positive about their role as educators. The whole team sees their role as incredibly important, helping children establish the building blocks for a successful lifetime of learning.

Our team understands just how important your children are to you, and we ensure we take our responsibilities seriously. Community Kids Early Education Centres has extensive policy and procedures in place to assist our team in protecting children in our care.

We offer parents snacks and coffee during the morning drop off to save them time. We regularly hold cultural celebrations. Food share pantry is available for all families, which is the way we share with our community.

We understand that starting at a new centre can be overwhelming. With many of our team having children of their own, we have all been or are going through the process of child care and early learning – we are proud to offer support where possible - from helping our families to enrol, applying for the Child Care Subsidy or even tips to help with fussy eaters.

We’re here to help.
