Community Kids Lavington Early Education Centre

We’re part of your village at Community Kids Lavington Child Care and Early Education Centre. Our early learning and long day care Centre is in the heart of Lavington, ideally located for families living or commuting through Lavington and nearby suburbs Springdale Heights, Ettamogah, Hamilton Valley and Glenroy. We are open from 6:45 AM to 6:00 PM for children aged above 18 months.

Spacious areas designed to inspire

Community Kids Lavington child care and early education centre offers fantastic age-appropriate educational programs, designed to enhance each child’s growth and development. Our outdoor play space offers a large spacious play area for all ages.

Our indoor environments invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children marvel, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists and designers. You will also receive daily photos and updates of your child's learning and development through our parent app - Xplor.

Healthy meals freshly prepared in-house

We provide healthy, freshly made meals and snacks created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Opportunities to educate children on healthy eating practices are displayed as educators encourage children to assist in selecting edible plants from our vegetable garden which are used in many of our meals. Communal mealtimes between children and educators grow relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.

Exciting early learning programs

No days are the same at our Lavington child care centre. Our educators and children explore our local community with regular excursions to the library, Bunnings, Fly Gymnastics, nearby parks and aged care facilities. We are also involved in a transition program with Campbelltown Public School. We organise a range of educational children’s shows including musical shows and welcome special guests to the centre including the local library, Steps who offers eye tests and KU inclusion support to extend on the children’s learning.

As members of our Community Kids community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
