Community Kids Valentine Early Education Centre

We’re part of your village at Community Kids Valentine Child Care and Early Education Centre. Our early learning and long day care centre is ideally located for families living or commuting through Tinigra Heights, Floraville, Croudace Bay and Newcastle. We are open from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM for children aged 15 months to 6 years.

Spacious areas designed to inspire

The moment you pop in our Valentine early child care centre, you will experience a world where children are inspired to explore, learn and grow. Our spacious outdoor environments include a water play area, sandpits, vegetable garden and a sensory garden as a quiet place for children to explore and learn through nature to engage all the senses. Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoor spaces to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence.

Our indoor environments invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children marvel, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts and sign language education are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists and designers.

Exciting programs and passionate educators

Each day is a brand-new adventure at Community Kids Valentine early education centre. Our friendly, nurturing and supportive educators are here to foster your child’s learning and development, and build partnerships with families. We offer specialised programs including Bush Kinder and sign language.  You will also receive daily photos, meal and nap times, as well as updates of your child's learning and development through our parent app - Xplor.

Community-based early learning

Throughout the year, educators and children venture out to on excursions to our local Valentine community visiting nearby park. We have strong relationships with local schools which assists with school readiness and transition, giving your child the best start for lifelong learning. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.

As members of our Community Kids community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
