Community Kids Bass Hill Early Education Centre

We’re part of your village at Community Kids Bass Hill Child Care and Early Education Centre.  Our early learning and long day care centre is ideally located for families living or commuting through Bankstown, Potts Hill, Chullora, Yagoona, Villawood and Carramar. We are open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM for children aged 6 weeks - 6 years.

Spacious areas designed to inspire

As soon as you walk into our Bass Hill child care and early education centre, you will experience a world where children are inspired to explore, learn and grow. Our spacious outdoor environments include a dry creek bed, a water play area, sandpits, cubby house, and a vegetable garden to engage all the senses. Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoor spaces to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence.

Our indoor environments invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children marvel, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists and designers. You will also receive daily photos and updates of your child's learning and development through our parent app - Xplor.

Community-based early learning

Each day is a brand-new adventure at Community Kids Bass Hill child care and early education centre. We provide a monthly calendar for the parents to be aware of different events that are happening each day. According to children’s interest, children also experience different environments through excursions that are organised by the centre two to three times a month. The child care centre promotes sustainability and sustainable practices through maintaining the vegetable garden, recycling water bottles and collecting reusable items to support local community. The child care centre provides highly educated staff members who are focusing to school transition program. Preschool room teachers are working closely with the Primary school to get children ready for further education.

Healthy meals freshly prepared in-house

You won’t need to worry about packing lunch and snacks for your child. We provide healthy, freshly made meals created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements and we provide with halal meat. Shared mealtimes between children and educators grow relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.

Our centre has received Meeting the National Quality Standard. The National Quality Standard encompasses the seven key quality areas that are important outcomes for children’s learning and development.

As members of our Community Kids community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
