Community Kids Shepparton Early Education Centre

We’re part of your village at Community Kids Shepparton Child Care and Early Education Centre. Our early learning and long day care centre is ideally located for families living or commuting through Shepparton, Grahamvale, Lemnos, and Shepparton North. We are open from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

Spacious areas designed to inspire

From the moment you step into our Shepparton child care centre, you will experience a world where children are inspired to explore, learn and grow. Our spacious outdoor environments include sandpits, ample natural and built shaded areas, grassed play spaces, and vegetable garden to engage all the senses. Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoor spaces to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence.

Our indoor environments invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children marvel, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced multi-cultural educators from Bulgaria, Albania, India, others with Italian backgrounds plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists and designers. You will also receive daily photos and updates of your child's learning and development through our parent app - Xplor.

Healthy meals freshly prepared in-house

You won’t need to worry about packing lunch and snacks for your child. We provide healthy, freshly made meals created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators grow relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.

Community-based early learning

Children enjoy a rotating schedule of specialised programs including music, sports and community links programs. We have an engaging sustainability program teaching the children a sense of responsibility and connection to their world.

Throughout the year, educators and children venture out to on excursions to our local Shepparton community visiting the library, local schools and local performing arts theatre (Eastbank). We also regularly welcome special community guests to the centre based on the children’s interests including Bravehearts, responsible pet program, reptile encounters and more.

As members of our Community Kids community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
