We’re Undergoing Centre Improvements!
The quality of our learning environments is of the highest importance to us. As such, we are temporarily closed as we undergo exciting centre improvements at Community Kids Yandina 1 to enhance parts of the centre, including a brand-new kitchen upgrade!
This means that the centre is closed from 6pm Friday, 12 February 2021. At this stage, we are not able to specify a completion date. However, we will continue to provide regular updates on the progress of works during this period and further information prior to re-opening to all current and prospective / enrolled parents.
If you are interested in enquiring about our centre, vacancies during the works may be available at our Community Kids Yandina 2 centre which is located close by at 12 Stevens Street, Yandina. Our Yandina 1 team of educators have relocated there during this time so that child educator relationships are maintained.
Part of your village at Community Kids Yandina Early Education Centre 1. Our early learning and long day care centre is ideally located for families living or commuting through Yandina and nearby suburbs Ninderry, Nambour, Kulangoor and Bridges.
As you open the door to our centre, you will experience a world where children are inspired to explore, learn and grow. Our spacious outdoor area includes a slide, sandpit and a vegetable garden to engage all the senses. Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoor spaces to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence.
Community Kids Yandina Early Education Centre 1 has proudly received an Exceeding rating under the National Quality Standards. The National Quality Standard encompasses the 7 key quality areas that are important for children’s learning and development. For the convenience of working families, the centre offers a free bus service.
Our indoor environments invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children marvel, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists and designers.
There is no need to pack lunch and snacks for your child. We provide nutritious meals and snacks created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Combined mealtimes between children and educators grow relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices. During your busy morning routine, let us treat you to hot coffee and a snack.
We offer a range of rotating specialised programs at our centre to enhance fundamental skills.
Throughout the year, educators and children venture out to on excursions to our local community visiting Yandina State School and Senior Living Nambour (aged care facility). Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
We welcome special guests and community members to the centre including Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Dentists.
As members of our Community Kids community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
